The B.I.O. World Referendum is launched in India and South-East Asia under the auspices of the Governor of Gorakhpur. The World Referendum is signed by 50 million people in the area.

1994

Dr. Kamla Chowdhry, Chairperson of the Centre for Science and Environment in India, participates in the Sixth B.I.O. International Conference and International Sakharov Festival and contributes to the volume of proceedings.
