H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development has won the “International Prize for Organizational Learning” in the ‘Personality of the year’ category in recognition of his achievements and contributions in the field of education and in appreciation for his support and encouragement to the concepts and practices of lifelong learning.
H.E. Sheikh Nahyan received the award shield from H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director General of the Emirates Identity Authority, Prof. Agni Vlavianos Arvanitis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Prize for Organizational Learning and Expert in Sustainable Development from Greece, Prof. Bob Garratt, Advisor of Corporate Governance & Applied Learning to South African Government, and Dr. Alaa Jarad, Chairman of Organizational Learning Conference MENA.
This came during the opening session of the “Organizational Learning Conference” organized by Emirates ID in collaboration with the Investors in People International. More than 400 experts and specialists from inside and outside the country as well as representatives of local government entities participated in the two-day conference, held at ‘Fairmont Hotel – Palm Island in Dubai.
