Full Event Program
As a visionary and pioneer in the promotion of education for peace internationally, the Biopolitics International Organisation participated with a special event in Geneva Peace Week 2017. The event, which was co-organized by 3DlexiaCosmos, highlighted the importance of bonds and synergies in peace education by encouraging cooperation between different stakeholders. Policy makers, educators and representatives from civil society organizations presented a “thesis” and “antithesis” on key issues concerning global citizenship in order to create a “synthesis” of new values for peace-building around the world. Geneva Peace Week offers an opportunity to connect and highlight the work of international actors for peace (NGOs, UN entities, and renowned academic and research institutions), who touch the lives of individuals across the world. It also highlights that peace promotion occurs in many different contexts and cuts across disciplines and sectors. The goal is to expand the space for dialogue about building peace and resolving conflict internationally. For more information, visit http://www.genevapeaceweek.ch/about
