Sustainable Forest Protection and Management 2011-2013

Various chapters made it easier to cross reference the suggested practices and my company’s current practices. The information presented covers various topics which my colleagues find very relevant in a South African context, as we are in a transitional phase and work with various communities that were previously deprived from accessing the economic benefits of forests and participating in general forest activities. The material that was provided to us was very useful and is the most valuable asset to me, my colleagues and company, as it forms the basis on which to build our strategy to involve surrounding communities in forest resource participation.
