B.I.O. President, Prof. Agni Vlavianos Arvanitis was the guest of honor and closing ceremony keynote speaker at a three-day conference themed “Land of justice – causes and values for humanity.” The conference was a special tribute to the work and vision of Maria de Jesus Barroso Soares, an enlightened leader dedicated to the promotion of human dignity and values for peace. The event was hosted by the Municipality of Fafe, under the auspices of Mayor Raoul Cunha, and was attended by international personalities and dignitaries. Read more

B.I.O. International Conference held to inaugurate the B.I.O. Division created in Portugal, under the auspices of the Medical School of the University of Oporto. Dr. Maria Barroso Soares graciously accepts the position of President of the B.I.O.
